Scientists Unearth New Clues on the Development of Lou Gehrig’s Disease
Researchers at Johns Hopkins have found evidence that a type of cell in the central nervous system plays a role in the development of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a fatal degenerative disease commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
