Looks like a sign of the times is also the sign of a stroke: Trouble or incapacity to write a coherent text message, even in those who have no difficulty speaking, may be an essential clue in diagnosing a type of stroke. “Dystextia”, as it’s called, was apparent in a man who saw nothing wrong with the garbled text message he’d written.
