Level of Low Back Pain Might Signal Development of Chronic Pain
According to a study reported in the Journal of Pain, high pain intensity at the onset of low back pain is indictive of future chronic pain and disability, even after five years. Conducted by a team at the Arthitis Research U.K. Primary Care Center, the research confirms that pain relief in the initial treatment of low back pain is linked to long-term improvement.
