TV Reporter Suffers Stroke-like Bell’s Palsy Attack
Mary King was sitting on the runway in Charlotte, NC — her plane bound for Baltimore, where she planned to be wed — when the 25-year-old TV reporter discovered that she couldn’t rub her lips together. Next, she couldn’t move the right side of her face or blink her right eye. Although she feared she was having a stroke, a trip to the nearest emergency room revealed that King had Bell’s palsy.
