This video, which corresponds to the feature “Outward-facing Technologies in Health Care,” details the creation of a VoV, or Virtual Office Visit. A VoV is an audio/video recording of a computer screen while a physician is reviewing diagnostic films. It includes voiceover narration and mouse movements, and can greatly enhance doctor-to-patient and doctor-to-doctor communication, as well as create a “medical highlight reel” that’s suitable for attaching to an EMR.
